Do you love to read as many romance books as possible?
For many years, romance was THE genre for me. I read mainly traditionally published authors until indie authors became my go to writers. And since then, I seem to be always on a budget. So, Kindle Unlimited is one of the best ways to read tons of books on a wallet friendly budget.
When I started out with Kindle Unlimited I was surprised by how many amazing romance authors were making their books available to KU.
But I also realized that although there were thousands of KU romance books available, finding GREAT KU books was like finding a needle in a haystack – an impossible feat.
I’m not lying when I say that from 20 KU books I downloaded, I usually DNFed 80%. That’s not a great ratio.
So, I thought I’ll make it easy on my fellow romance novel reader, and compile a list of all the romance books I READ & ENJOYED and that are currently (at time of this blog post) available with KU.
Because if you know where to look, you can find great books to read for a small amount of money.

This is my way of going about KU:
I usually make a Kindle Unlimited list on Amazon (wishlist) and start collecting KU books that sound interesting until my wishlist has a good amount of books collected. Then I sign up with KU for a couple months, read them all, and cancel again.
The nice thing is that Kindle Unlimited has something for everyone. AND, some KU books come with FREE audiobooks!!!!! That’s a BIG BONUS!!!
Over the years some of my most favorite ENEMIES TO LOVERS novels are on KU, same with favorite MM ROMANCES as well as some of my ALL TIME FAVORITE ROMANCES.
I mean it when I say that Kindle Unlimited has amazing authors available, you just have to know where to look.
And if you want to find out who my FAVORITE KINDLE UNLIMITED AUTHORS are, I have a list for you too.
And I just wanted to mention that at the moment you can get a 6 month subscription for $8 a month, and read ALL the books below.

The first night I met Gillian Taylor, she claimed she was a pilot. Then she claimed she worked for a “private airline.”
I knew right then and there that she was lying to me, and that sexy as hell or not, she was the type of woman I needed to avoid.
Still, after a pleasurable one night stand, I was certain we’d never see each other again. That we didn’t need to see each other again.
Until I saw her in an airport a few weeks later…
Until I realized that we were both assigned to work the same flight. She was the flight attendant.
I was the pilot. Those two facts should’ve cemented the main reason why we needed to keep things professional and follow the rules, but I couldn’t stay away from her, and our forbidden affair was about to get far more turbulent than I’d ever imagined.

He took me in when I had nowhere else to go.
He doesn’t use me, hurt me, or forget about me. iHe doesn’t treat me like I’m nothing, take me for granted, or make me feel unsafe.
He remembers me, laughs with me, and looks at me. He listens to me, protects me, and sees me. I can feel his eyes on me over the breakfast table, and my heart pumps so hard when I hear him pull in the driveway after work.
I have to stop this. It can’t happen.
My sister once told me there are no good men, and if you find one, he’s probably unavailable.
Only Pike Lawson isn’t the unavailable one.
I am.

As the days go by, though, it’s becoming anything but easy. I have to stop my mind from drifting to her and stop holding my breath every time I bump into her in the house. I can’t touch her, and I shouldn’t want to.
The more I find my path crossing hers, though, the more she’s becoming a part of me.
But we’re not free to give into this. She’s nineteen, and I’m thirty-eight.
And her boyfriend’s father.

Making Faces by Amy Harmon | most beautiful YA novel

GET THE BOOK || REVIEW
Ambrose Young was beautiful. The kind of beautiful that graced the covers of romance novels, and Fern Taylor would know. She’d been reading them since she was thirteen. But maybe because he was so beautiful he was never someone Fern thought she could have…until he wasn’t beautiful anymore.
Making Faces is the story of a small town where five young men go off to war, and only one comes back. It is the story of loss. Collective loss, individual loss, loss of beauty, loss of life, loss of identity. It is the tale of one girl’s love for a broken boy, and a wounded warrior’s love for an unremarkable girl. This is a story of friendship that overcomes heartache, heroism that defies the common definitions, and a modern tale of Beauty and the Beast, where we discover that there is a little beauty and a little beast in all of us.

OMG what a list Corina!!! And so many favorites! Well done!
thank you – love that there are some great authors on KU
This post should really be called “The post where Corina recommend KU books to Deanna and her TBR explodes.” Luckily, I’ve already read some of them. I’m always looking for new ones, though.
I’ll change the title ASAP 😀
Add them to your list, and let me know if you had success with any of them.
LOL
I don’t have KU because I have had a hard time finding anything that I love. This is a great post though!! I definitely didn’t know some of these were on there. I might have to try a trial over the winter or something. 🙂
That’s what I usually do, I make a list and when I have a lots of books I want to try out on KU, I subscribe for a month or two, and cancel again. Amazon makes canceling very easy. It’s also a great way of trying new authors. 😀
Perfect!! I’m going to do that! I’ve got a few books to add from your list that look good! ?
I just signed up for kindle unlimited last month. So far I’ve read the first five books in the Palm South University series by Kandi Steiner and I enjoyed them. Going to save this for later when I’m looking for something to read on KU and hope that they are still available.
That’s fabulous!!! I have Palm South U on my tbr too. I’m currently collecting KU titles for later this year ?
How are you adding them? I can only add 10 at a time.
I made a list on Amazon, and I’ll add it there, since I don’t have KU at the moment.
I didn’t know you could make lists on amazon. Like I know I have a wishlist but I didn’t know I could make more.
Yeah ? as many as you like, public or private.
That’s good to know thanks for the info.
You’re welcome ?
I am bookmarking this page so I can come back and review it later when I’m browsing for a new KU book to read. I’ve read and loved several ones you have listed, so I have high hopes I”ll enjoy the other ones you recommend.
Let me know if you find any that worked for you ??
This is everything I’ve been wanting lately!! I’ve been considering starting a KU subscription because I want to get more into romance but am way intimidated by the enormous amount of romance titles. I think I’ll have to do the same and go through your list over a couple months instead of having a subscription for an indefinite amount of time. Love this so much! ?
Ali, I’m so glad this list is of help to you. I love making a list, and when I get to a good amount, and maybe if there is a KU sale, I’ll be signing up again. 😀
And KU can be intimidating, it’s not joke. There are too many books, and everyone can put their books in KU nowadays, and there is no other way to find quality books except for trying them all out, or having someone that read them recommend books/authors. That’s how I found some of mine too, or when favorite authors decided to put their books in KU.
Hope you’ll find a favorite or two ??
What a list, Corina ?
Thank you ?
Thanks for all of the recommendations, I’ve been debating whether to purchase a KU subscription and you have given me a great idea, I think I’ll make a list like that too and then take the subscription
I have been trying to get into romance and I will definitely be reading some books on this list soon
A KU subscription is totally worth it if you use it wisely and have tons of books to read. Have a list ready, before you sign up. Let me know how it goes 😀
I will, thanks ??
Great list! I feel the same way when it comes to KU. I sign up and sign off often. I’ve read a ton of these and they are amazing recommendations!
I’m happy they make it so easy on us with canceling. And sometimes they have great sales too. And yay, so glad you agree with me on many of the books.:D
I adored the Wall of Winnipeg and Me. It was such a fun slow burn relationship. I loved it. Making Faces is gathering dust on my kindle right now. I really need to read it.
Wall of Winnipeg and Me is one of my favorite MZ novels, and Making Faces is SO GOOD!!!!! It’s Amy Harmon’s BEST! 😀
I’ve definitely been reading from KU lately and they’ve been OK reads so far. Absolutely love this list!
I usually download 10 KU books, and DNF 9 – that’s a HORRIBLE ratio ?
On the other hand there are some fantastic authors on KU, you just have to know them.
