FALL BUCKET LIST 2020

Have you ever made a fall/autumn bucket list?
This is something I wanted to do for a long time. Actually not just for fall but all the seasons. I love to make lists. Researching items and ideas. Checking them off as I go.
Lately, I feel the need to be more conscious of how I live. How I spend my free time. To follow my passions more often. To do things that are fun and meaningful. Enjoy life and the seasons to the fullest.
My goal is to create some awesome memories each season.
FALL BUCKET LIST 2020
1) Wear a cozy sweater
This is not as easy as it may sound. A cozy sweater can be easily too warm in the Bay Area. Sometimes the temperatures are very mild until January/Febraury. But I will make it happen.
2) Go on a picnic
I love going on picnics, but do it so rarely. I though combining the picnic with a scenic drive along the coast is a great idea. And the coast is usually cooler than in land, and it might be just “cold” enough to wear my cozy sweater, which I hopefully have bought by then.
3) Go on a nature walk
I rarely hike, but I love taking long walks in the morning. And I think it’s time to plan for something more spectacular, and I think I already have something in mind.
4) Take fall pictures
Definitely this!!! We won’t get real fall colors in the Bay Area, but I’ll be taking my camera to a pumpkin patch this year, and will combine this with some more fall inspired locations.
5) Eat Caramel Apples
I have NOT eaten a caramel apple yet!! So, I thought 2020 is the year to check it off my to-do list.
6) Bake Pumpkin Cookies
I don’t really enjoy pumpkin pies, but I’ve fallen in love with pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting on top. SO GOOD!!!
7) Visit a Pumpkin Patch
This one is on the very top of my to-do list. Not only for the photographic opportunities, but also to experience the atmosphere one more time.
8) Friendsgiving
I’ve always wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends. It doesn’t have to be anything BIG, or elaborate. Just a get together to be grateful and thankful for another year of awesome friends.
9) Buy a new flannel shirt
I think this one goes perfectly with a new cozy sweater.
10) Visit the Farmers Market
I rarely visit farmers markets, and I think I need to do it more often, especially now since fall decor and wreath are being sold.
FALL BUCKET LIST 2020
Great list and all very achievable I would think!
I thought so too :D, I just need to get it going.
This bucket list sounds sooooo good and cozy. I hope you have fun doing all of this ?
Thank you!! I can’t wait to check off a couple things on this list. š
Great bucket list! I hope you accomplish everything!
Thank you, and we shall see š
Love this! I make an activities list every year for the fall and then another one for the holidays. It’s the perfect way to get into the spirit, IMO!
I want to make them more often. It’s a wonderful way to start a new season, and like you said get into the spirit of it.
All very doable and sounds wonderful! I love fall!!
Fall is my favorites season, can’t wait to take out my scarves and sweaters ;D
These all sound great for fall! I wish friendsgiving could be a thing here, but I don’t think I’m going to even get Thanksgiving with the extended family this year. Dang COVID.
this year is going to be interesting. I don’t think the numbers will be that much better around Thanksgiving, but I can wish, right? š
Friendsgiving isn’t actually a thing in Europe either, but I’ll be making it a thing š
Invitations will go out, maybe not this year, thanks to Covid, but hopefully 2021, and I can not imagine people saying no to good food. lol
I adore this list!! Comfy sweaters are arguably the best part of fall. Fingers crossed that you get a nice cozy fall day so you can wear one to it’s fullest! (: Also if you have a reliable and delicious pumpkin cookie recipe PLEASE hit me up because I’ve been wanting to make some for the past few weeks!! Ugh I can’t wait for fall to fully hit, this list makes me so excited!! ā„ ā„
I’ll look for the recipe I have my eyes on, and send it over. Also my sweater weather has already been delayed, we are having 100 degrees (37 Celsius) next week ?
Pumpkin cookies sound divine!!! Send some over to Wales if you get the chance, I will happily offer my tasting services. ? In all seriousness, I love the idea of making a seasonal bucket list. I feel like it’s a good way of encouraging you to go through with the ideas your conjure up. I know I need to make a conscious effort to turn my ideas into actions so I might follow suite with a bucket list. Brilliant post.
I agree! I love making lists, and having one that reminds me of all the things that I can do this fall season gets me into the spirit of things. It’s a way to maybe enjoy the season to the fullest. Also, let me see how the cookies turn out before I’ll send you inedible cookies š
And I’m looking forward to your list š
Ahhh! I love your list! I love fall! ? I hope you can get out there and do everything you have set for yourself!
I don’t think I’ve ever tried pumpkin cookies before and now I MUST try them! I live somewhere where we really don’t get drastic season changes, but I will still be doing almost all of these things to try to keep the fall vibe alive.
I’ve never made one of these but I love this!! I love going to the Farmer’s Market. A bit more complicated these days!
