Book Releases August 2020
I always look forward to new releases. Every month I go through the list on Goodreads and check out the books that are coming up next. To see which of the books look promising. And what book I’ve seen being talked about by other bloggers. It’s always exciting to make a list of books for the coming month.
Here are the releases I’m looking forward to. And I’m actually planning on reading them all (except for the two I already read), just maybe not all in August – lol.
Either way, what do you think? Do you have any of these on your tbr for this month or later this year?

So many good ones!! I can’t wait to read kiss my cupcake and the trouble with quarterbacks!
I have high hopes for both of them! ?
So, SO excited for You Had Me at Hola! I also might pick up Kiss My Cupcake!
Excited about both, and I still think You Had Me at Hola has the most gorgeous cover ?
Ooo this is the first time I heard about a new CoHo novel. Exciting news! I want it!
It should have been published in July, but she pushed it out, so I’m really excited to get it this month. AND it’s a romance too 😀
So many people have been loving Luster! The cover is so beautiful ?
I feel like it came out of the blue :D, nobody talked about it until it exploded to the surface and now it’s everywhere ?
Yes omg! It came out of nowhere and I live for it ?
Such a good list of books to look forward to here. I am definitely excited for Emerald Blaze …you can never go wrong with Ilona Andrews.
Ilona Andrews makes EVERYTHING better 😀
An awesome list?
Thank you. First I thought August would be a boring reading month, but seeing all these books, makes me change my mind.:D
I’m super excited for Heart Bones. Colleen Hoover is one of my favorites and every new release from her is cause for celebration. This is the first I’ve seen of Bear Necessity but it looks like one I would enjoy.
Bear Necessity looks and sounds right up my alley ? and I agree about CoHo, I’m a band new fan of hers, loved Regretting You so much, that I can’t wait to read another of her books.
I’m looking forward to the books by Grey, Hoover, and Hunting.
You picked three of my most highly anticipated books 😀
Yay!
I got my eye on Emerald Blaze and Heart Bones 🙂
I know you’ll love the first one, and I’m interested to see if I’ll love Heart Bones as much as I loved Regretting You or if Regretting You was an exception when it comes to her books ?
I got Luster as one of my Book of the Month add ons!
Ooh, I saw they had some excellent books this month! But I also noticed that the way they are doing it right now, I would have to get add-ons all the time ? too many great books, and the ones I would want are add-ons only.
I just checked their picks for August, I would have wanted The Night Swim, The Unravelling of Cassidy Holmes, The Space Between Worlds, The Comeback and Luster, how many add-ons would I have needed? 😀
I got The Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes as my main pick and luster as an add on! You get one main pick and two add ons! So you could have gotten three of those! If you ever want to sign up, I’ll send my code and you get your first month for 9.99! ?
aww thank you!! But I canceled my subscription a few months ago since I had to stop buying physical books since I’m moving soon. But they had fantastic books this month!!
I totally get that. We are planning to move next year and I was trying to read my physical books only this year. Ya know, to get rid of some… I ended up buying SO many because of the pandemic and signing up for Book of the Month! haha. OOPS!!
Oops ? I moved once before with books and it’s a pain, they are so heavy. Better to only take the books you really love. But so many are buying books like crazy during the pandemic. It’s a great time to read ?
Haha.. I have like 5 bookshelves between my husband and I. We had three before we moved to our house 6 years ago. So, I totally know how much of a pain they are!! Luckily, we are going to be hiring a moving company when we move.. I’ll just take my favorites and they can move the rest. haha! Yes, the pandemic has me buying so many books!!!
Next time I’m going with a moving company too ?
Haha!! Yeah, we’ve always used our family’s help but my parents are way older now and they are all busy!! Plus, our kid… he’s taken over the house with all his stuff! Hahaha. It’s hard too bc we are keeping everything if we decide to have another. It’s so much stuff. ?
